Make your own crunchy cookies for your buns.

  • Preheat oven to 200F.

    Use equal parts (about a cup) of

    pumpkin puree

    banana

    hay dust (and small straws of hay)

    another piece of fruit: apples, blueberries, pear or a carrot.

    Use a mini food processor/chopper to chop the fruit.

    Mash the banana and pumpkin together and add to chopped fruit.

    Fold in the hay dust in small amounts until all ingredients have been mixed together.

    Place parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Use a 1 tablespoon scoop and put on paper.

    Bake for about two hours, or until crispy.

    Yields about 2 dozen cookies. Lasts for two weeks.
